Long-fibered Sphagnum moss. Ideal for potting mixes, pure sphagnum moss substrate, reptile and amphibian enclosures. Notably used for orchids, philodendrons, monsteras, and other Aroids as well. 

Strand length of 5-8" (12.7-20.32cm) long for at least 50% of product (when fluffed with care). Sold as MIXED grade as definitions vary, but roughly between 2A-3A grade (One Mile Moss definition) / Classic and Premier (Besgrow definition).

 Reference equivalent grades (for strand length):

• Besgrow Classic (>70% 10cm length)
• Besgrow Premier (50% >15cm length)
• One Mile Moss 2A (> 50% 10-20cm length)

These bricks have been super-compressed with 50-ton press, which often leads to shorter individual strand length, but has remarkable capability to fluff up quickly, especially when rehydrating with warm/hot water!!
