*NOTICE* THESE PLANTS ARE FUSSY ABOUT SHIPPING!! What does this mean? Well, despite best efforts with packing and pre-shipping care, leaves may be wilted or "melted" from shipping stress, leaving a plant that just looks like a stem - 99% of the time it is NOT DEAD, just needs some time to grow new leaves that are adapted to your environment. Expedited shipping is strongly recommended for this item (UPS 2 day minimum, overnight is ideal)
One of the most extravagant of begonia species, Begonia brevirimosa subsp. exotica definitely will make a statement with the dark green leaves with bands of pink (almost can be fluorescent in intensity with proper lighting).
Care of Begonia brevirimosa subsp. exotica:
Shade or florescent light, temp. 50 to 85 degrees, allow getting fairly dry between watering, easy to grow if given extra humidity of an enclosure/terrarium (humidity is a MUST).
